| In shocking news earlier today we learned that Microsoft will take away the DRM Policies on the Xbox One. Sources indicate that Microsoft is going to move away much of what has caused the company so much headache. What does this mean for the Xbox One?
- No More Always Online Requirements
- The Console no longer has to check online every 24 hours
- All games on discs will work on the Xbox One as they do on the Xbox 360
- Authentication is no longer necessary
- An Internet Connection is only required when initially setting up the console
- All downloaded games will function online and offline
- No additional restrictions on trading/loaning games
- Region locks have been dropped
