relating to my post last night, ill be talking about which archetypes have which conditions(when, can. if, can. and when/if: )
Heros: Shining is a when, can( capable of missing timing )
Zero is a when: must ( cannot miss timing and effect is manditory)
Hieratics: All effects that summon a monster when tribute are when: must, and so cannot miss timing and are manditory.
Chaos Dragons: Lightpulsar dragon is a when, can ( capable of missing timing)
Atlanteans are all manditory effects and cannot miss timing.
Geargia: Accelator is a when, can effect and so CAN miss timing.
Gear Gigant is a when: can effect and so CAN miss timing.
No other archetypes with "sent to the grave" effects come to mind. it is almost impossible for other effects to miss timing. Generally the reason cards miss timing is because the going to grave is not the final occurence. However, it IS still possible for other cards to miss timing. For example, if player A summon Wind-up Magician. Player B responsds with Torrential Tribute. Player A responds with CotH(targetting a windup monster). At the end of this chain, a Wind-Up Shark cannot be summoned, because the final thing to resolve is torrential tribute sending monsters to grave, his condition of a windup being summoned is gone, because coth was activated earlier.
If any questions are had, please ask. Any specific situations? please ask.
