everyone meet at kiaba corp on the top of the building they got the arena set up and they are waiting on us

Omega sighed. This was seriously putting back his plans with catching up with fried. He headed to the stadium as planned and would be ready to take down his opponents.

Zero deactivated his duel disk, and took his deck out of the slot. This Atsuke guy didn’t inflict any damage on him.
Atsuke had gone to watch the tournament as it proceeded, but not before giving him a communications device to keep in touch.
Zero frowned, He had said something about Yuki and Jaden, this is getting bigger than I thought.
Zero slipped the equipment on and turned on the receiving end to hear if Atsuke needed help. He made sure not to turn on the mic. Atsuke didn’t need to know what was happening unless it was a dire situation.
Zero frowned, where had that other boy gone? He knew Ω had given him a chip then he had ran off, when Zero was still dueling.
Trident help me out here!!

Trident appeared and then scanned the area.
After a minute Trident roared.
He is heading towards the suburbs
“Then let’s go!” Zero said as he took off.
Zero ran following the directions of Trident to find that other boy, and to see what what happening.
I will inform you of this though, that blue character has a duel spirit of his own
"Like i care" said Zero as he ran around a corner, "If he doesn't get in my way, then i don't give a crap about him"
Tch wonder who all hear Trident's Roar this time

“WHAT?” Omega whirled around after hearing an ear-splitting roar. “Zero is here too?” Omega muttered. This had just gotten a lot more interesting and complicated. The duel stadium was in his sights. Omega had to hurry, Zero hated waiting.

Having finished his business with his uncle, Draco took the elevator up to the roof, memorizing the document in the mean time.

~ding~
the elevator sounded as he reached the top. Getting his duel disk ready, and calling Garunix Draco went onto the platform, coat billowing in the wind he muttered.

-I' know what do to, the first step begins today, he smirked, they would never see this coming.
Lets go Garunix, do it.

A purple aura flashed around him, it danced like flames, then it faded, from the sight of mortals and spirits anyways...

"Is this....the place?" Fried asked, wiped out from his 3 mile walk.
"Just about. The spirit is around here somewhere. I asked it to come out of hiding for you." Zubaba replied.
"Thanks..." Fried looked around, "So where is he?"
"What do you mean? He's right there." Zubaba said, pointing forward.
"Don't be stupid that's just a buildi-..." Fried stopped for a moment, "You've...got to be kidding me..."
"Sorry, Fried. The spirit of the deck is..."
"Machu Mech..." Fried gave out a heavy sigh, "Chronomaly then...?"
"Yep." Zubaba responded, "Seems you've got your work cut out for you."
"First things first, we talk to it."
"Yeah, good luck with that." Zubaba laughed on the side.

Fried walked a bit closer, but still stood a few dozen yards from it, being able to see the entire spirit.

"Hi!" He yelled out. No response, "How do you do?!" Fried tried again to no avail, "What's good?!" He tried one more time. Still, nothing.
"Well this is going no where." Zubaba commented.
"How the hell did you talk to this guy?!"
"Well, I didn't. We kinda just...Spirit Contacted. You uh...You want me to do that again?"
"Yes...please!" Fried gnarled.

It took a few minutes for Zubaba to return, but when he did....The Machu Mech let out a huge screeching sound that roared across the city. Fried wiped a drop of blood from his ear before he even attempted to stand up from the sound wave that knocked him down. When he looked up, the spirit was gone.
"The uh..." Zubaba started, his ears ringing as well, "The deck is at the base of where he was; directly forward. Also, Zero is coming for you."
"Who...?" Fried asked, still stunned.
"The guy that Omega went off with earlier."
"Right...Guess we should get going then, huh?"
"Mmhm..."

Omega arrived at the stadium with time to spare. He glanced at the others and took his spot among them waiting for the others.

Having arrived at the site of the finals of the tournament, dressed in a white jacket, Alice would walk toward the others standing off to the side, she would smirk, so these are the best of the best, well too bad for them that the light will demolish anyone foolish enough to stand against us.

Hearing a ear-splitting sound, Draco turned.

what now? he thought.

-Garunix?

- it's Machu Mech..

-ahh well that's interesting i wonder who's it's master..

-I can't tell, it doesn't seem to have formed a bond yet.

-hmm, now we wait for Fried, hope he won't be long...

Getting the deck from where it rested in a cleared, grassy knoll, Fried inspected the cards that lay within.
"This deck is definitely made by Athena..." He said, putting it into his pocket, "Although, I'm a bit worried to summon Machu Mech for anything."
"Why's that?" Zubaba asked, taking a seat next to Fried as he did the same.
"Well first, the guy is freaking HUGE. Other than that...He's a strong silent type."
"I'm sure he has a different form. Or I could just translate for him."
"Good idea...." Fried thought, "Hey. Ask him if he know's what the purpose of the Catalyst was."
"I thought you knew...?" Zubaba said, puzzled.
"Well, not exactly. I asked Athena, and she told me that it was an extremely powerful deck made just for me."
"Oh...So-"
"Ask him, please." Fried reiterated.

After a minute or so of silence, Zubaba returned, "He said to serve."
"To serve?" Fried asked, raising an eyebrow.
"Yes. To act as an avatar for your strength, and battle your opponents."
Fried gave out a hefty sigh before pulling the deck out. Placing it in front of himself, he looked at the extra deck. Placing Machu Mech on the top, he said, "Listen up. I'm not your master, and I'm not your bitch. We're partners. We work together, for each other."
Machu didn't reply to that.
"It's no fun if you're my slave, or vice verse. So let's try to be friends."
"R-..." A voice came from the card. It was loud, high pitched, and metallic. Almost like the spirit didn't have a voice, but clanked together pieces of metal and rock for sound, "Really?" It asked.
"Really..." Fried said, rubbing his ears, "Anyway you could come out of the card without being...as massive as you were before?"
"Y-...yes." It replied. From the card, a spirit lopped out. It still looked like it did before, but almost as big as Zubaba. Like he was put into a shrink chamber.
"Great." Fried responded, "I'm Friedrick. I'm glad to meet you."
"I-...I am known as Machu." The spirit responded, "I am...glad to meet you."
"Awesome." Fried gave out a smile, "Now, let's get to know each other."

Zero was running as fast as he could to find where the boy had gone.

Doesn't he know that the tournament is starting soon?

Zero was dashing towards an alley way when he heard an ear-splirting screech. He actually had to stop and cover his ears for a second till the noise died down.

Trident! Give me an update!

It is a duel spirit, but that is not important, the boy that we are looking for is near that sound
Zero dashed towards the sound only to find the boy picking up a deck.

"You!" Zero spat
The boy looked up
"We need to get to the tourny now!"
Zubaba appeared above the boy.
And how do you think we are going to do that. We are 3 miles out from the meet up point.
Zero rolled his eyes
"Please you think i didn't think of that?"

Zero jumped back, and activated his duel disk

"Help us out here Trident!!!!!"

Trident Dragon appeared and Roared loudly

"Get on!" yelled Zero and he threw the boy on and jumped on himself.

Trident dragon took off and flew toward the tower.

After a minute Trident touched down on the roof of the building.

"Now get going!" yelled Zero and he threw the boy off and dismounted himself.

The boy waved, "Thanks! I owe you one!"

Zero removed Trident from his duel disk and Trident disappeared

"Who cares? Now move it!" barked Zero as he marched toward the other waiting participants.

All the other participants were there, The headmaster, Ω, draco, Sergei, blue, the boy he just brought (Fried), plus both Atsuke and a girl.

Zero frowned, "Well then! Get set! DUEL!"

Draco went up onto the stage to wait for Fried.

-I'm sorry, but please don't get in my way, i must do this, he called to Fried.
I wont be holding back, so if you truly are as great as you say, or as Athena and Zubaba say for that matter, You'll beat me, but i will not let you go in there if you are weak, now, burn...burn away...

"I don't have any beef with you, Draco. I thought we were friends. But if I back down with my new deck, then I don't now what Machu will think of me." Fried said, clutching his deck in his hand.
"I'll only duel you if you tell me why. Right here. Right now. I'm not losing something else because I was too arrogant to listen!"

Omega faced Blue as the fans in the stadium when wild with cheers. “You know messed up a bit too much to simply say you don’t know me.” Omega stated with a frown. His eyes started to glow red once again and the irises change to the all too familiar shape. “If I win, you better answer my questions. This a time a malfunctioning duel disc won’t save you.” Omega shot a glare at Blue. “Time to end this, OMEGA MODE!”

- well first of all, lest you need be reminded, we are in a tournament, but other than that we are friends, and i don't want you harmed for no reason.....Also, my plan requires i fight either blue, or the headmaster, you'll thank me later.

After giving out a sigh, Fried brought his Duel Disk out, "Fine. If it's a duel you want. Machu and I won't disappoint."

Having won, and revised what strength was about, Draco went over to watch omega duel...

Blue let out a sigh i guess its my turn well omega that card is mine

blue steps up on platform unlike fried i wont fail i will end you omega puts on duel disk and activats it you ready to end this

“Well, that was a waste of time.” Omega stated flatly. “I was hoping for a challenge after all this hype.” Motioning to the crowd, whose cheers had changed dramatically. “His fans should have chosen better.” I have to find Fried and Zero. I got what I wanted thought I have confirmed Blue’s side and I will drag out the necessary information soon enough. Omega turned and walked off in search of Fried and Zero. He held a suspicious card in hand.

"Machu..." Fried whispered, "Show me again. Please." He lay in the corner of a dead end hallway, reclusing to himself and Machu
"O-..." Machu responded, still getting used to talking. His voice was less clanky and metallic, but still held some to be desired, "Okay...Once the tournament came to its close, Athena wanted me to pass this note to you." Machu said, revealing a piece of paper that laid inside an empty card sleeve in the extra deck. It wasn't Fried's first time seeing it, but he still acted like it was.

The paper read as such :

Hey, Fried.

You did great! I'm writing this before hand, so i don't know what actually happened. Maybe you didn't win, but that's alright. I'm sure you did both of us proud.

At that moment, Fried stopped reading to wipe the tears welling up in his eye away before continuing.

Anyway, now that the tournament is over, it's time to get the Catalyst. It's just a deck, but it's not finished. I wanted you to complete it by yourself. I knew that once you uncovered what power truly was, you'd be able to make the deck complete by yourself. I know you can do it!

Fried took another pause before continuing. He didn't bother trying to wipe the tears from his eyes this time.

And....this may be the last time we talk. Even though it's not much of a talk. Once you accept the Catalyst...once you accept Machu. My work will have been done. I'll take my deck, as well as Zubaba, and we'll have to go. He'll return to the Knights...I'm not sure what I'll do. I know you want me to stay with you, but the truth is...I can't. I'm holding you from your true potential, Fried. So, for your good, Machu will take care of you. I asked him to give you this paper so you'd know why.
I know you use me because you miss Jen...I do, too. But she never left, Fried. She's always been with us, in heart and mind. And as long as you remember that, she's not going anywhere...and neither am I. I'll always remember you Fried. You were truly...a partner like no other.

"Thank you, Machu." He whispered.
"Of course..." Machu responded.
